Soccer Totstars was founded in 2010 by Coach Rodrigo Camacho in Chicago, Illinois with one clear mission: to give young children an exciting and meaningful introduction to sports through a fun, educational, and development focused soccer experience. What began as a small family project has grown into a trusted, family owned program proudly serving schools and communities across the greater Houston area.
Backed by more than thirty years of combined experience in youth development and soccer training, our team brings together professional playing backgrounds, advanced coaching expertise, and a deep understanding of early childhood education. Many members of our staff have competed at the highest levels of the sport, and that real world experience shapes the quality, structure, and standards of our program.
Soccer Totstars blends the joy of soccer with research based teaching and learning methods. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support children’s motor skill development, cognitive and social emotional growth, and age appropriate learning progression while creating an environment that is positive, encouraging, and full of energy. Each session is crafted to build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a lifelong love for movement and play.
As a Director of competitive youth soccer clubs, Coach Rodrigo Camacho has led teams to State, Regional, and National achievements within US Youth Soccer. His experience developing elite players and managing high performance environments directly influences the foundation of Soccer Totstars. The same principles used to guide competitive athletes are adapted into fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate methods for young children, ensuring every child receives a safe, enriching, and inspiring introduction to the game.
